The Knock Out Fan Blade Removal Tool is designed to simplify separating a fan blade from the shaft of an old motor, thus reducing a contractor’s time on the job. The tool has a striking pin made of heat-treated steel, which requires just a few hits with a hammer. The sleeve also keeps the striking pin centered on the shaft, reducing the chance of mushrooming of the shaft end. The engineered sleeve allows it to fit hubs of 1-, 1 ¼-, and 1 11⁄16-inch diameters, preventing the tool from rocking on the hub. The anodized aircraft aluminum body has a rubber grip to reduce vibration.
