BRISTOL, United Kingdom — A-Gas International has announced the formation of A-Gas Americas following the merger of sister companies Coolgas, RemTec, CIJSA, and A-Gas Performance Chemicals. A-Gas Americas will operate from the companies’ existing locations within the group in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas as well as Mexico. The companies’ range of services and products to the refrigerant, performance chemicals, environmental services, and fire protection industries will continue to be offered, but under one brand.

A-Gas International is a supplier of products and services across the globe and trades in Australia, China, South Africa, Southeast Asia, and the United Kingdom. The newly formed business in the Americas will give customers greater access to technical expertise, industry knowledge, and know-how within the group.

Ken Logan, president of A-Gas US Holdings, said, “Customers will continue to talk to the same friendly and dedicated sales personnel. By bringing the four businesses together into one recognizable brand we will be able to offer customers all the benefits associated with the A-Gas group globally but under one roof. Together we are one family and our values of integrity, professionalism, and great customer service will remain unchanged.

“Work is already underway to consolidate IT, business, and financial systems within the one company and this will be completed soon. We see the establishment of A-Gas Americas as a stepping stone to greater growth in the Americas’ market during the years to come. It is an exciting phase for A-Gas International and we hope it will help turn our Americas’ operation into the largest contributor to group business.”

Coolgas and RemTec are recent acquisitions for A-Gas International, bought by the company in 2012.

A new website has been created to reflect the changes in the business, making it easier for customers to find key information on the company’s products and services. For more information, visit
