COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Brewer-Garrett Co., a Cleveland-based energy and HVAC services contractor, has announced that H. Kelly Tisdale, energy services manager, and James Wilbanks, senior energy engineer, will be presenting at the 19th Annual Ohio Energy Management Conference, Feb. 25-26, 2015 at the Renaissance Hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

Tisdale will be presenting on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. during the Interactive & Concurrent Workshops session on “Best Practices in Co-Generation and Combined Heat and Power (CHP).” He will be presenting on his experience with multiple successful projects.

Tisdale is the general manager of the Energy Services Division at Brewer-Garrett. He manages the team of energy professionals providing energy services performance contracting to the educational, commercial, and industrial marketplace. Utilizing in-house engineering, design, construction, and service expertise, his team has completed a number of energy conservation performance contracts throughout the Midwest. His focus is to work with new and existing customers to develop customer driven programs that conserve energy, reduce costs, and improve bottom line results. He assembles the resources to configure and install programs that include innovative solutions for cogeneration and CHP, lighting, HVAC mechanical systems, building automation systems, water conservation and system assurance, process utilities, fire and security systems.

Tisdale is a certified energy manager (CEM) and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP). He has over 25 years of experience in project development, system design, service, and auditing. He has appeared on TV, radio, in newspapers and trade magazines, and has presented at conferences and workshops on advanced energy topics.

Wilbanks will be presenting on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11:15 a.m. during the Interactive & Concurrent Workshops session on “Advanced, New & Emerging Energy Technologies to Reduce Energy Consumptions Within Your Facility.”

Wilbanks has over 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering and system design. As a senior energy engineer and sales team manager with Brewer-Garrett, he is responsible for the development, design, and implementation of energy conservation programs. His background in mechanical system design allows him to ensure that the programs developed adhere to the strict requirements of building codes and industry standards.

Wilbanks is also LEED AP certified. He is an active member of ASHRAE, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), and the Ohio Society for Healthcare Facilities Management (OSHFM).
