SEATTLE — Optimum Energy, a provider of data-driven cooling and heating optimization solutions for enterprise facilities, has introduced OptiCx™ Chiller Diagnostics, a tool providing transparency into chiller operations through monthly status reports. Chiller Diagnostics provides a scorecard in red-yellow-green format that forms the foundation for a chiller maintenance action plan.

“With Chiller Diagnostics, we’re empowering plant operators to take chiller maintenance to the next level,” said Matt Frey, president and CEO of Optimum Energy. “Chiller Diagnostics draws from over 300 cumulative years of chiller operating data to categorize issues and prioritize recommendations for our customers. The result is reduced O&M [operations and maintenance] expenses and improved system efficiency in chiller plants.”

Available as an add-on for customers with a subscription to the OptiCx Platform, the company said Chiller Diagnostics includes actionable, chiller-specific recommendations in monthly reports. For outsourced operations teams, the software provides insight into chiller system details in multi-site campus environments.

Chiller Diagnostics works with the OptiCx Platform web software to provide an overview of chiller performance over time. Chiller maintenance decisions are thus simplified for operators through prioritized recommendations. Chiller Diagnostics is also accessible anytime, anywhere via OptiCx Trend, an interactive mobile app for iOS and Android devices. The mobile app includes one-touch report sharing, which streamlines communications with maintenance staff.
