LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Md. — The HVACR Workforce Development Foundation will host the 20th Annual HVACR & Mechanical Conference for Educational Professionals, March 9-11, at the Conference Center at the Maritime Institute (CCMIT), Linthicum Heights, Maryland. The conference is an industry-supported event designed to provide instructors, industry trainers, and administrators of apprentice and secondary/post-secondary instructional programs with technical information and teaching techniques that will enable them to train the next generation of skilled workers for the HVACR and plumbing industries.

Installation and service for HVAC, water heating, plumbing, sheet metal, and commercial refrigeration equipment is the second-fastest-growing mechanical trade in the nation, with an estimated 136,000 new jobs expected to be created through 2018, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

These technician jobs cannot be exported. Every commercial building and most homes in America have heating, air conditioning, and water-heating equipment that must be maintained to continue working at peak efficiencies.

Attendees who register by Jan. 30, 2015, are automatically entered into a raffle to win a complimentary hotel room for up to three nights. For more information, visit http://bit.ly/HVACRMechanicalConference.
