SINDELFINGEN, Germany — Compressor specialist Bitzer has unveiled a redesigned website, which the company says provides an intuitive interface, application-based product searches, and helpful online tools available at all times.

The most notable improvement is the new website’s revised product area: users will now have two options for finding the right product — either via the technology or the application. “If customers are unsure about which compressor they need, they can quickly find the right product based on the intended application — for instance by entering the keyword ‘supermarket’ in the website’s search engine. Users can therefore find what they’re looking for in just a few clicks,” said Marcus Loistl, Bitzer director of marketing and communication.

Another benefit is that customers can access the company’s online tools from any page. This makes it possible to simulate operating conditions specific to any application and thus identify, for instance, the correct refrigerant and the optimal maximum allowable pressure. “All the improvements were introduced to benefit customers. The key to the success of this large-scale project was the effective collaboration of everyone involved,” said Loistl.

“With its user-friendly design, the new Bitzer website addresses a larger target group. A key improvement is that the system now automatically directs queries to the right contact representative based on region and issue, allowing us to streamline our processes and answer all questions much more quickly.
