MONROE, Ohio — HVAC.com is giving back this holiday season to HVAC contractors that are using their businesses to do good deeds in their communities and around the world. HVAC.com is sponsoring the Contractors for a Cause contest to highlight the charitable works performed by those in the industry. Entries will be accepted on the company’s website until Dec. 31, 2014.
“At HVAC.com, we feel strongly about giving back to our community during the holidays and all year long,” said Will Housh, founder and CEO, HVAC.com. “The Contractors for a Cause contest is our chance to give back to contractors who feel the same. This helps us recognize those who are working hard to support the communities they serve and other causes they feel passionately about.”
Contractors interested in entering the contest can submit entries online through the end of the year. Video submissions, pictures of their good deeds, or a write-up about their cause and efforts can be sent to the HVAC.com team for approval. All entries will be posted for voting on HVAC.com. Contractors are encouraged to spread the word to their friends, family, customers, and communities, as the entries with the most votes will win.
The first place winner will receive $2,500 and a $2,500 gift card to HVAC.com to use on equipment and other products, second place will receive $250 and a $250 gift card to HVAC.com, and all entrants will receive an HVAC.com Contractors for a Cause t-shirt.
“We are very excited to offer the Contractors for a Cause contest this holiday season,” said Matt Tyner, business development manager, HVAC.com. “Our team is looking forward to seeing all the good works our contractor clients are doing for their favorite causes.”
The Contractors for a Cause contest runs through Dec. 31, 2014. Contractors can submit entries online via www.hvac.com/contractors-for-a-cause.
