Customer: Georgia Poultry Laboratory, Oakwood, Georgia
Installation: Entire HVAC system for a 35,998-square-foot Center for Desease Control and Prevention (CDC)-type BSL3 (bio safety level three) laboratory.
Completion: September 2014
Objective: Install an intricate HVAC system to fulfill laboratory and biosafety requirements including HEPA filters and Greenheck laboratory exhaust fans for the Georgia Poultry Laboratory.
Work Completed: A complete HVAC system, including placement and hookup of several 300-ton chillers, hundreds of air valves, three air-handling units that supply air to the entire facility, two HEPA air filters, and six large Greenheck laboratory exhaust fans, was installed.
