The Robur RTAR is a modular, reversible cycle gas absorption heat pump system capable of producing hot water up to 140°F and chilled water down to 41°F. Under nominal conditions, each heat pump module’s capacity provides a heating output of 120,400 Btuh and cooling output of 57,700 Btuh. Up to six factory-assembled modules are available on a Robur rail set. The Robur RTAR uses renewable outdoor heat to provide heating efficiencies up to 126 percent. The best applications are in high-efficiency, low-temperature, hydronic-heating, and chilled-water cooling systems, allowing exceptional design flexibility for commercial and industrial facilities.
