• The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling-Contractors Association (PHCC) awarded a $5,000 scholarship to Evan Womble, who will be attending Campbell University (Buies Creek, North Carolina).
• ASHRAE (Atlanta) released the fourth version of its proposed Legionellosis standard, which is open for public comment until Nov. 10.
• The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) launched a certification program for DX-dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS).
