HVAC Organizations: June 23, 2014
• The Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institute of Canada (HRAI) is seeking nominations through July 1 for the Craig McCarthy Memorial Award and the Gerald Inch Award for Chapter Leadership. Winners will be recognized at HRAI’s annual general meeting in August.
• The Associated Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors of Texas Charitable and Educational Foundation (APHCC-Texas) awarded a total of $10,000 in scholarships to Morgan Denkeler, Steven Duty, Joshua Esparza, Breann Hall, Katie Hunter, Madison Johnson, Cristian Lopez, Tarann Riley, Christopher Schufford, and John Strutton.
• The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) opened registration for its Collective Bargaining Seminar, scheduled for Sept. 8-10 in Washington, District of Columbia.
• ACCA (Arlington, Virginia) announced a public review period for BSR/ACCA 12 QH -201x, “Home Evaluation and Performance Improvement,” as a revised industry standard. Comments are due June 29.
