Krueger-HVAC Introduces New Website
A Key Component of the New Site Is the Online Product Catalog
A key component of the new website is the online Product Catalog. This application gives users a way to find product information regardless of experience or familiarity with Krueger-HVAC products. It begins with a two-part menu. The first part of the menu allows users that are familiar Krueger-HVAC products to select a model from the drop-down menu and immediately land on a product page. For those less experienced, the secondary, expandable menu allows visitors to quickly step into one of three levels to eventually arrive at a model page: Category Overview, Product Division, or Product Family. Moving through each level, photos and descriptions provide easy recognition to quickly target a specific type of product.
To learn more about any given model, information is broken up into a series of tabs, which makes it simple to move from standard published drawings, data, and specifications to installation manuals, engineering information, submittals, and more. Terminal unit products now include a tab dedicated to control submittals. By using a set of filter drop down menus, customers need only select the type of control they require and the results quickly narrow down to a few choices.
“The underlying goal of the new Krueger-HVAC website is to make it easier to do business with us,” said Paul Christiansen, vice president. “Whether users enjoy the improved navigation, clean appearance, increased performance, or new bells and whistles, we will have met our objective.”
Search capabilities have also been improved. Whether searching on a broad-based term or a specific model, the search provides up to three different categories by which to locate requested information: Product Families, Model Numbers, and Submittals. Corresponding descriptions for each link make it easy to identify and access requested information.
As a supplement to the online Product Catalog, the new Krueger-HVAC website provides a variety of electronic tools for download, ranging from selection software to thermal comfort calculators, which are all collectively accessible through the Software menu. Also available are a number of educational items, including literature, webinars, white papers, and more, which are all listed under a Learn menu.
