• Sherwood Valve LLC (Washington, Pa.) named John Foster as southeast regional sales manager, and Arnie Lockstein as mid-Atlantic regional sales manager.
• Nest Labs Inc. (Palo Alto, Calif.) entered into an agreement with Intellectual Ventures (Bellevue, Wash.) granting Nest Labs non-exclusive rights to Intellectual Ventures’ portfolio of patents.
• TSI Inc. (Shoreview, Minn.) launched its IAQ and HVAC training center, a division of TSI University.
• Williams Comfort Products (Colton, Calif.) opened a warehouse distribution location in Commerce City, Colo.
• Horizon Die Co. Inc. (East Dundee, Ill.) announced it is adding 21,000 square feet of space to its East Dundee manufacturing facility.
• A.O. Smith Corp. (Milwaukee) awarded its L.B. Smith President’s Safety award to its water heater plant in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
