• Schneider Electric (Rueil-Malmaison, France) reported that second-quarter 2013 revenues were up 3 percent organically.

• Ingersoll-Rand plc (Swords, Ireland) announced net earnings of $317.2 million in the second quarter of 2013, with the climate solutions division increasing revenues by 5 percent compared to this time last year.

• ABB (Zurich) announced revenues increased 6 percent in second-quarter 2013.
