Bristol Compressors Intl. Inc.: Refrigerant Replacement Compressors
Approved for retrofit in existing R-22 systems using R-407C or R-22 refrigerants, the H7 Series compressor models are charged with POE oil. They are available in 1.5-5-ton capacities. According to the manufacturer, the compressors offer contrac-tors, dealers, and distributors use of lower-cost refrigerant than R-22; simple, quick compressor change out, warranty protection, and potential for higher profit margins.
