Superior Boiler Works Donates New Boiler
Superior Boiler Works Inc. completed and delivered a new boiler and feedwater system for the new O.H. Kruse Feed Technology Innovation Center being constructed at Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kan. The donated boiler is a high-efficiency 80-hp Apache, two-pass dryback, high-pressure steam boiler.
“We are pleased to support and partner with Kansas State University by donating this new boiler to the university’s state-of-the-art feed technology innovation center,” said Doug Wright, Superior’s president and CEO. “We recognize the importance of higher education in driving innovation and technology, and know that Kansas State will continue to be a leader in this area of grain and mill science. Several of our employees are alumni and we’re happy to give back to the university.”
