Ingersoll Rand Rings NYSE’s Closing Bell
Event Celebrates Trane, Thermo King Anniversaries
Ingersoll Rand chairman and CEO Michael W. Lamach (middle, with gavel) rang the closing bell of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in celebration of two company milestones — the 100th anniversary of Trane and 75th anniversary of Thermo King. Joining Lamach on the NYSE podium was Gary Michel, president of Trane Residential (right) and Didier Teirlinck, president of Trane Commercial and Thermo King (left), as well as representatives from the Ingersoll Rand, Trane, and Thermo King executive teams.
“As the twelfth oldest continuously listed company on the New York Stock Exchange, we are honored to ring the closing bell of today’s trading,” Lamach said. “We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the incredible histories of Thermo King and Trane. These storied brands continue their legacy of innovation in their respective industries and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones.”
