Designed for commercial and residential use, the CopperWatcher™ air conditioning alarm system monitors the two vulnerable components of an air conditioning system: voltage and refrigerant pressure. The alarm system will trigger the building’s alarm system following a power loss or upon tampering of the refrigerant copper line. According to the manufacturer, the CopperWatcher must be monitored by a burglar alarm system and provides total protection by utilizing all of the existing burglar alarm features. The a/c unit alarm system detects theft of any type of air conditioners: 208/230 or 460/480 V single or three phase. This system is applicable for office suites, parks, doctor offices, banks, churches, daycare centers, and restaurants, claimed the company.
