COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Members of the Council of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Educators (CARE) recently elected Jamie Price, a trainer for the Alabama Power Co., Verbena, Ala., as their new president. Price faced Harold Nelson, a trainer with Mingledorff’s Inc. and runner-up in The NEWS’ 2012 Best Trainer contest, in the election.

Price, who has 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry, holds several NATE certifications and is also an Alabama master gas fitter and plumber. He was elected March 11 by a show of hands at the 2013 HVACR & Mechanical Conference for Educational Professionals in Colorado Springs, Colo.

“We look forward to increasing our membership and letting people know what CARE has to offer,” Price said. For more information about CARE, visit www.carehvac.org.
