Two dual-fuel natural gas/propane and No. 2 fuel oil condensing boilers — GMI-8M-DF and GMI-4M-DF — have been added to the company’s condensing boiler lineup. The boilers can run either natural gas or propane as the main fuel with No. 2 fuel oil as the backup. All boilers are test run at the factory on both gas and No. 2 fuel oil so they are ready to be piped in and fired up. The DF condensing boilers are available in two sizes: 8 million Btuh and 4 million Btuh. The units use a patented radial pulse-combustion heat exchanger. Made from 316L stainless steel, they offer corrosion and thermal shock resistance with a very fast response time. The boilers contain Riello burners.
