SEATTLE — Optimum Energy has announced the promotion of Ben Erpelding to chief technical officer and the appointment of four executives to its management team: Christi DeCuir as vice president of engineering, Adam Goldberg as vice president of sales, Jack Reader as vice president of strategy and alliances, and Chris Boscolo as vice president of development.

Optimum Energy’s HVAC optimization solutions provide for continuous commissioning to maintain peak energy efficiency. Based in Seattle, the company partners with commercial building equipment and service providers.

Erpelding, P.E., C.E.M., has more than 14 years of experience in energy efficiency, chiller plant optimization, and combined heat and power (CHP) technologies. Over the course of his career he has performed more than 1,000 detailed energy assessments at public, commercial, and industrial facilities. In his new role, Erpelding will further develop the company’s technical vision for driving energy savings through cloud-enabled HVAC optimization.

DeCuir will be responsible for integrating cloud, mobile, and data analysis technologies into the company’s energy optimization products and services.

Goldberg will be responsible for charting the company’s overall sales strategy and leading the company’s direct and channel sales teams.

Reader will be responsible for the company’s strategic business roadmap, including partnership development that brings the evolving capabilities of the industrial Internet to enterprise facilities management.

Boscolo will manage all software development, including software as a service (SaaS), on-premise applications, and Optimum secure architecture.
