• The International Mechanical Code (IMC) reversed a 2009 code change that required 28-gauge residential sheet metal ducts. The change will be introduced in the group’s 2015 code.

• International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials’ (IAPMO) senior director of special programs Pete DeMarco has been appointed one of eight working group co-chairs on the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) Energy Efficiency Standardization Coordination Collaborative (EESCC).
