Home » HVAC Breeze: HVAC Service Cart, Gantry Frame
The HVAC service cart’s workbench allows the technician to work from an upright position. With a mounted vise the technician can prefabricate piping on the cart, instead of working in awkward, hard-to-reach areas where injuries and fire may result, said the company. The cart allows a technician to take more equipment to the jobsite at one time, rather than have to make multiple trips between the jobsite and the service van. Use of the cart also will eliminate some heavy lifting, thus theoretically reducing back, neck, shoulder, and knee injuries, said the company. The gantry frame is designed for compressor jobs through roof hatches. It weighs 51 pounds and supports up to 250 pounds. The gantry frame is constructed of lightweight aluminum. It is fully collapsible and can be assembled quickly in 2-3 minutes, the company said. The gantry frame is 6-feet 8-inches tall and 4 feet wide.
