The PowerDyne™ P46UC universal connector trap is a disc trap that utilizes the same valve module (seat and disc) as the P46SRN disc trap; but is contained in a two-bolt, universal connector body. The universal connector trap is both replaceable and repairable. It uses air-jacketing to reduce no-load cycling, extending the trap’s life. It features fast automatic start-up using thermostatic air venting (with bimetal ring). According to the manufacturer, the unit offers energy efficiency and long life with a steam-tight seal and long life from heat-treated, hardened stainless steel working surfaces. The P46UC’s two-bolt connector is available in ½-, ¾-, and 1-inch sizes in NPT, socket weld, and flanged connections.
