With attractive modern styling and round recessed buttons, the next generation fan coil thermostat is designed with a simple and intuitive user interface and can be used in hotels, condos, and school classrooms. The T5500 Series provides universal line voltage (120 or 240 vac) on-off control of two- or four-pipe fan coil units with manual or automatic heat-cool changeover. Low-voltage control is also available. Key features of this thermostat family include a large LCD display with backlight, wiring subbase for easy installation, and an optional remote sensor. The thermostat controls a three-speed fan motor. The Auto Fan mode adjusts the fan speed to the appropriate speed setting to provide optimal comfort, noise reduction, and energy savings. Remote setback terminal inputs are available for use with occupancy sensors, hotel card keys, time clocks, and DDC systems to setback the thermostat to an energy-savings setback mode. Alternatively, a single-button press can also trigger the setback mode. A keypad lockout feature is available for those building owners who do not want the thermostat settings to be changed. Adjustable maximum heating and minimum cooling setpoints allow building owners to customize the setpoint range to their preference.
