Over 150 employees were arranged into teams to assemble and decorate bicycles for 18 excited children. Crystal Nesbitt, a participating employee at the event, stated, “This has been an awesome experience. It takes a lot of teamwork. But it’s worth it, knowing it’s for such a great cause.”
At the end of the event, the children arrived to pick up their new bikes, so the employees who put them together got to see their reactions and watch the kids test them out with enthusiasm.
“Giving back to the community was a great experience. All the employees had a lot of fun, and it was a great way to build morale,” said Stephen Gow, director of marketing for Spirax Sarco.
