• The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced that the ACCA 12 QH-2011 Existing Homes Evaluation and Performance Improvement Standard has been recognized by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

• The Mechanical Contractors Association of America (MCAA) will host its Pre-Fab Seminar on May 9-11 in Bethlehem, Pa.

• HVAC Excellence (Washington, D.C.) will host its National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference on March 18-20 in Las Vegas.

• The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) will host its 75th annual conference and HVACR Technology Expo on Nov. 14-17 in Isle of Palms, S.C.

• The International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) will hold its 2012 Industrial Refrigeration Conference and Exhibition on March 17-21 in Milwaukee.

• Women in HVACR (Orland Park, Ill.) announced its 2012 executive board. Patti Ellingson (right) was named president; Ruth Ann Davis, vice-president; Nita Brooks, immediate past president; Karen Riffice, treasurer; Leslie Titcomb, co-treasurer; and Donna Graham, secretary.
