CHICAGO — The Draft Simulator from Draftrite LLC is designed to safely and accurately test pressure switches by simulating a draft inducer — there is no need for the furnace to be on. Previously, the company says, there hasn’t been a way to accurately test pressure switches to ensure proper functionality.
It is also said to be the only tool to accurately calibrate adjustable pressure switches, thereby eliminating the need to carry multiple models and types of pressure switches. And through the process of elimination, it can help prove or rule out the draft inducer and trap.
