ComStar International is introducing a new no heat solder that permanently bonds all metal types, unthreaded or threaded, matched or mismatched without using heat, the company says. Metal Lock Black can be used on any metal including aluminum, black iron, steel, copper, brass, and more. It’s easy to apply, seals against most fluids, refrigerants, gases and chemicals, and will withstand extreme vibration. It has a temperature range of -65 to 350°F and can withstand shear pressure up to 2,200 psi (ISO 10123).
