Added to the manufacturer’s line of LED work lights is a powerful LED trouble light. It produces four times the illumination of a comparable biaxial fluorescent bulb trouble light. The VPHLED-12W-25 is a compact and powerful trouble light designed to provide high light output. Equipped with 25 feet of cord and featuring a rubberized housing and food-safe polycarbonate lens, this lamp is an ideal alternative to hot running incandescent and fragile fluorescent trouble lights, the company says. The vapor-proof design provides protection from damaging internal contamination of the lamp while a rubberized housing provides a secure grip and resistance to damage from impacts and vibrations. There is no ballast used in this lamp, so it weighs less than a fluorescent unit and has less internal hardware to worry about failing and replacing, and the damp area-approved trouble light runs much cooler than incandescent trouble lights, eliminating the occasional burns associated with accidental touching of the lamp assembly, claims the manufacturer.
