• TheAir-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI)announced that theCalifornia Energy Commission (CEC)uses the AHRI Directory of Certified Product Performance to determine compliance with Title 20 for mini-split central air conditioner and heat pump systems with dual-, multi-, or variable-speed compressors.

• The Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) announced the launch of its Member-Get-A-Member
Campaign, a membership recruitment and rewards program running through April 30, 2012. “Recruit 3 – Earn $50,” is the theme of the campaign.

• HVAC Excellence has granted Tennessee Technology Center (Crump, Tenn.) accreditation of its HVACR program.

• LonMark International announced Barry Haaser, from Lakeview Group, will serve as the organization’s new executive director.

• The National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA) Education Center has recently been restructured and repositioned and is now located at the NORA headquarters. It has moved from Watertown, Mass., to Alexandria, Va. The new address is 600 Cameron St., Alexandria, VA 22314.
