TROPHY CLUB, Texas - The second annual golf tournament hosted by the Joseph Groh Foundation will take place on Thursday, April 28. The golf tournament, to be held on a course designed by legendary pro golfer Ben Hogan, will be at the Trophy Club Country Club, in Trophy Club, Texas.

The tournament is being held to raise money for the nonprofit organization’s mission to provide financial support to employees, former employees, and family members of employees and former employees of the construction and HVAC industries who have suffered permanent spinal cord injuries or other permanent and life-altering disabilities.

The day begins at 11 a.m. with registration and pre-golf festivities. A mulligan, putting contest, and 50/50 drawing are part of the pre-golf festivities. Tickets will be sold for a chance to participate in a hole-in-one shootout, where any golfer in the shootout making a hole in one wins $100,000. During the event, prizes will be awarded for the longest drive, the most accurate drive, two closest to the pin drives, team low gross, (top three teams), and team high gross. Every golfer will have an opportunity to win a four-day/three-night vacation package at a ClubCorp resort of their choice, for scoring a hole-in-one on any of the par three holes.

Each golfer will receive a sleeve of balls and an official tournament golf shirt. A cookout lunch will be served.

In addition, a dinner and live auction will be held after the day of golfing.

Individuals and foursomes can receive a discount for registering and paying early. Various levels of golf tournament sponsorships are available.
