• The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announced an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) public review period for its “BSR/ACCA 5 QI -201x, HVAC Quality Installation Specification.” The deadline for comments is Oct. 4.
• The Building Performance Institute Inc. (BPI) is seeking applications from individuals interested in serving on its Standards Technical Committee. Interested parties should submit an application by Oct. 14.
• The Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) will hold its annual conference Oct. 23-26 in Houston.
• The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors - National Association (PHCC), and Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) collaborated to produce a comprehensive four-year textbook series; the first three apprenticeship manuals - HVACR 101, 201, and 301 - are now available for sale.
