TULSA, Okla. - Hilti, a leading manufacturer and supplier of specialized tools and fastening systems for the professional user, has introduced the newly renovated Hilti Online, which the company says features a fresh, user-friendly design, bringing faster and easier online shopping to construction professionals. Following nearly two years of development, the new Hilti Online has gone live for the Hilti U.S. (www.us.hilti.com) and Canada (www.ca.hilti.com) markets.
Philip Robins, Hilti director of E-Business, said, “The improvements to Hilti Online were based upon direct customer feedback. This allowed us to deliver a high-quality user experience consistent with what our customer’s expect from Hilti.”

Hilti partnered with several leading industry providers for the Hilti Online renovation: the design phase partner was Crealogix Interactive Business, a leading supplier of E-Business solutions; the front-end software solution and development was supplied by BroadVision, a global provider of personalized self-service Web applications; and for the integrated search solution, Hilti utilized the Google Search Appliance.
The new Hilti Online will continue to roll out to all Hilti market organizations worldwide, with a completion date of April 2010.
