ORLANDO, Fla. - As the 2010 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo) opens today in Orlando, Fla., nearly 1,900 companies will be showcasing their latest products and technologies to an expected 40,000 HVACR professionals today through Wednesday at the Orange County Convention Center.
According to show management, a number of exhibitors came on board in the last couple of months leading up to the show.
Clay Stevens, president of International Exposition Co., the show organizer, said the timing of the expo should be beneficial for the HVACR industry. “We expect that there is already some pent up demand for new products and technologies and that thousands of buyers from around the world will be coming to the show to make purchasing decisions.”
Stevens added that government incentives are helping to fuel a growing demand for energy-efficient green products and many of these technologies will be on display at the show. In addition, dozens of educational sessions will be dedicated to energy efficiency, indoor air quality, green building/sustainability, and other important topics.
