June 12, 2009: Aqua-Therm Now Represents Kunzel Wood Pellet Boilers in the U.S.

June 12, 2009

SPICER, Minn. - Aqua-Therm owner, David Laursen, announced that the company has become the exclusive representative for the European indoor pellet boiler by Kunzel.

“This is an exciting strategic relationship we have formed with Kuenzel GmbH & Co, the German manufacturer of the Kunzel Pellet Boiler,” said Laursen. “This relationship means introducing one of the best built, most efficient pellet fired, indoor boilers on the market today to residential and small commercial users in the U.S. The Kunzel Pellet Boilers are 91 percent efficient and available in two sizes, a 35,000 Btu unit (will heat most homes under 1,500 square feet) and a 70,000 Btu unit (suitable for homes up to 3,000 square feet) with a 140,000 Btu unit available later this fall.”

Aqua-Therm now represents two boiler brands, the Kunzel Indoor Pellet Burning Boilers (branded the Pellet-One by Kunzel in the U.S.), which is offered throughout the entire United States exclusively through Aqua-Therm, and the Econoburn Wood Burning Indoor Boilers, available from Aqua-Therm throughout the U.S. with the exception of the New England and Mid-Atlantic areas, where Econoburn will continue using its own sales organization.

“This is the culmination of a lot of hard work from a lot of people,” stated Laursen. “Aqua-Therm is evolving into a complete alternative energy company for residential and small commercial solutions. The addition of Pellet-One and Econoburn indoor boilers mark the first steps toward a totally redefined business and market strategy focused on bringing complete alternative energy solutions to residential and small commercial customers.”

“With our existing line of Aqua-Therm and Eco-One branded outdoor wood fired boilers, Pellet-One and Econoburn represent a great opportunity to give the end-user a perfect indoor boiler option for reducing their dependence on fossil fuels, and most likely lowering their overall heating costs at the same time. Aqua-Therm now offers high-quality outdoor and indoor, wood and pellet fired boilers for residential and small commercial use,” added Reid Kubesh, president of Aqua-Therm.
