The WhisperGreen® ventilation fan product line has been expanded with new models. Designed for 4-inch ducts, the new generation 80-cfm models, FV-08VKM2 and FV-08VKS2, are quieter than their predecessors at less than 0.3 sones. For bathrooms with 6-inch ducts, the new 130-cfm models, FV-13VKM2 and FV-13VKS2, exhibit sone levels of 0.5. The WhisperGreen-Lite™ ventilation fans are Energy Star®-rated exhaust fans with a light fixture. Two 18-W compact fluorescent lamps and one 4-W night lamp are included. The units come with variable two-speed and delay timer controls built in or as a single-speed fan. Models FV-08VKM2, FV-13VKM2, and FV-08VKML1 feature the SmartAction® motion sensor. According to the company, this feature makes it ideal for people with disabilities and assisted living environments such as nursing homes and retirement communities.
