POTTSBORO, Texas - A golf tournament to benefit the Joe Groh SCI Fund will be held April 25 at the Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro, Texas. Groh worked in the HVAC industry for his entire 20-plus year working career.

A large portion of that was spent with Lennox as a territory manager in Chicago; a marketing manager in Columbus, Ohio; a director of the dealer marketing advisor program in Dallas; and a district manager in the Carolinas and Chicago. Most recently he was a vice president of sales and marketing at PCI Industries in Fort Worth, a company that manufactures various HVAC products.

An avid cyclist, Groh was riding one Sunday last June when his front tire hit a patch of sand, causing him to go off the trail throwing him over the handlebars and leaving him a quadriplegic. The first item this tournament is raising money for is a voice-activated computer. Joe and wife Sue have been married for over 25 years and have raised three children - a son who is a graduate of Texas A&M; another son who is at North Texas University; and a daughter who is a junior in high school.
