BREA, Calif. - Siemens Building Technologies Inc. and Controls Group North America (CGNA) have begun a new summer promotion, “Grow for the Greater Good,” which enables CGNA distributors to simultaneously grow their businesses and donate to charitable causes.

“As an innovative organization, we felt the need to do something different - something that not only increases participation on a wider scale for a greater good, but also something that can profoundly affect the world around us,” said Mike Sackett, executive director of CGNA.

“We believe the CGNA members will appreciate the role we have taken.”

To participate in the program, which runs from June to August, CGNA member distributors must meet or exceed their annual Siemens target sales goal. If they beat their goal, distributors are eligible for a chance to win prizes or donate their winnings to a non-profit organization of their choice.

Top-performing distributors gain automatic entry into the Grand Prize Give-Away, a $10,000 charitable contribution by Siemens to the winning CGNA member’s favorite charity.

“One of our highest priorities is to not only be a commercially viable organization, but also one that exercises corporate responsibility and positive stewardship,” said Mark Halbur, director of sales and operations, Siemens HVAC Products and Controls.

“We are looking forward to supporting the incredible work of charitable organizations throughout our communities by participating with CGNA distributors in this unique promotion.”
