The conference will take place April 9-11, 2008, at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

“Carrier is thrilled to have Rick and Val as keynote speakers at the 10th Global Engineering Conference,” said Kelly Romano, president of Carrier Building Systems and Services. “Carrier and United Technologies have long been supporters of the U.S Green Building Council and we are excited to extend the synergy through this event.”

Attended by global consulting and design engineers, the conference will focus on new technology and engineering topics in the HVAC industry. The theme of the 10th conference is designing and building for sustainability, with the goals of reducing environmental impact through reducing the consumption of nonrenewable natural resources, minimizing waste, and creating healthy, productive environments.

Speakers will discuss finding solutions that provide environmental, societal, and human benefits while reducing construction and operating costs. The solutions consider all project aspects including planning, design, construction, operation, and decommissioning.
