Clydesdales are three-legged sawhorses that combine with a 2 by 10 and 2 by 12 inch plank of any length up to 24 feet. According to the manufacturer, using the engineering principles of I-beam strength, the sawhorses, rated at more than 600 pounds, are so strong that they have held the weight of a 6,400-pound pick-up truck. Because the sawhorses are metal and the cross planks are made of wood, the length is adjustable. A long hinge attaches the third leg to the stand and is secured in place with a pin that prevents it from inadvertently folding. When not in use, the third leg folds flat for storing. The sawhorses don’t require assembly or reassembly to relocate or turn corners on a jobsite. It comes with rubber-padded feet for stability on flat surfaces and to protect finished flooring at inside jobs.
