The Ruud Ultra Series® UPRL-JEZ is a 16-SEER, R-410A heat pump. The unit is equipped with the microprocessor-based Comfort Control System™, which delivers integrated control technology to monitor performance, conducts self-diagnosis, and provides active protection and 24/7 AutoAlert.  An easy-read display is located inside the service panel for time-saving, accurate diagnosis that directs technicians to root causes of faults and speedy resolution. Technicians can also quickly review fault code history and run-test the compressor and fan by pushing a button. Fully compatible with the UHPL air handler, this new heat pump is available in 2- through 5-ton capacities.  Features include a Copeland two-stage scroll compressor, auto-reset high- and low-pressure switches, a GE ECM™ fan motor, and enhanced demand defrost control. The units are Energy Star-rated.
