The 975 AirMeter™ test tool is designed for fast, easy IAQ monitoring and testing. The instrument simultaneously measures, logs, and displays temperature (wet bulb and dew point), humidity, carbon dioxide (CO2), and carbon monoxide (CO) levels in both metric and standard units. It also includes airflow and velocity capability using the optional air velocity probe. The tool can be used for a full range of IAQ diagnostic and monitoring tasks, including responding to comfort-related calls from building occupants, determining whether there is adequate ventilation, general airflow and velocity monitoring, testing for carbon monoxide leaks, verifying building HVAC control systems, and optimizing HVAC system operation. Features include percentage of outside air calculation, automatic compensation for barometric pressure changes, CO2 and CO field calibration, and a self-test function at start-up. It captures minimum, maximum, and average on all measured and calculated readings. The tool features a multilanguage user interface. Data can be downloaded to a PC via a USB interface for analysis using the included FlukeView® Forms software.
