The Benchmark 3.0 low-NOx condensing full modulation boiler, BMK 3.0LN, is an addition to the Benchmark family. It employs the same fuel-saving technologies, design principles, and key components that are part of the Benchmark 2.0 boiler line. The boiler will consistently measure less than 30 ppm of NOx corrected to 3 percent excess oxygen at all firing rates. With an operating range of 200,000 to 3 million Btuh, the boiler matches fluctuating loads to minimize boiler cycling and eliminate temperature overshoot. It incorporates the C-More™ unit controller and the company’s air-fuel delivery system, which enables the boiler to achieve a 15:1 turndown. The boiler attains 99.1 percent efficiency at its lowest firing rate, and is more efficient at 100 percent input than other boilers with similar capacity, claims the manufacturer. Measuring 79 (high) by 28 (wide) by 64 inches (deep), the BMK 3.0LN comes in a single, fully assembled package that fits through a standard doorway. The unit can be used individually or in multiple unit designs and features a variety of combustion air and venting options.
