Three new lines of DX fan coil products for add-on replacement, design-build, and retrofit applications are available. The DX fan coil units are available in horizontal, furred-in ceiling models, cased, and uncased models. The units offer straight cooling, heat pump, cooling with electric heat, or cooling with hot water heat, all meeting the new efficiency standards. A second line can be wall or closet mounted. The application is most often found in hotels or apartments and can be connected to a water heater. The third line is a full family of multiposition models including upflow, horizontal left or right, and counterflow. The standard unit features a circulator pump for applications with a hot water coil. All units can be used with R-22 or R-410A and an expansion valve can be selected and factory installed to match the system.
