NEW YORK – The Carrier Corp. has “substantially increased” sales of air conditioning units at its online store – www.roomair.com – by implementing WebMiner’s data mining and personalization service offering. The WebMiner ASP platform utilizes models to predict which sales offers are likely to “resonate” Web visitors and then serve those offers in real time. In one month since implementing the platform Carrier improved its visitor-to-sale conversion rate by almost nine times and increased its revenue per visitor from $1.94 to $37.98.
