NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) has announced that the 2004 ASHRAE Annual Meeting, scheduled for June 26-30, 2004 in Nashville, will feature 55 seminars, 27 forums, nine symposia, one poster session, and one technical session. In all, 80 papers will be presented. The meeting will take place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.

According to ASHRAE, the seminars will cover business, technical, and legal issues related to design-build services, addressing mold problems in buildings, green buildings and commissioning, industrial ventilation case studies, residential roofing and attic technologies, lab renovation case studies, and new ideas in absorption technology.

Seminar presentations at the meeting will be audio recorded with their PowerPoint presentations and will be made available for sale for viewing online or on DVD following the meeting.

Technical tours have been scheduled at the Opryland Power House, Dell computer facility, Nissan manufacturing facility, and the Nashville District Energy System (DES) facility. ASHRAE Learning Institute courses will include two new courses on Standard 62.2 and 21st century laboratories.
