Clean Up Your Act

I enjoyed your article and would like to see a follow-up article on appearance. A number of years ago, I had my own company that I sold so I could move closer to the grandchildren. I had access to many customers’ houses during their absence to make repairs. Trust is built not only on keeping appointments and returning calls but by appearance. A button-down uniform shirt is much more professional looking: clean shaven, no tattoos, absolutely no smoking on customer’s premises inside or out. “Yes, ma’am” and “no, ma’am” or “yes, sir” and “no, sir” — not “sure, buddy.” Just some thoughts I wanted to share.
