Darren Alexander P.E.

Darren Alexander, P.E., is partner, vice president, and technical director for TWA Panel Systems Inc. Born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick, he received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of New Brunswick. Alexander joined Trane as the only Canadian university graduate of the “ninety-six two” class in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and began working as an outside sales engineer for the Trane sales office in Calgary, Alberta. In 1997, he left Trane to join Engineered Air, also based in Calgary, and established himself as an equipment designer for the HVAC industry. Alexander relocated to Edmonton, Alberta, in 1999 to join Olympic International Agencies Ltd., an HVAC equipment representative firm, where he became the branch manager, working in the construction frenzy of Alberta’s oil boom for the next eight years. In May 2007, he became a partner of Twa Panel Systems Inc., in Edmonton, Alberta.
