Modern computer modeling software is a powerful tool proven to identify the entire system operation and determine the best and safest design solution.

This study presents a comparison of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models of different room configurations with different airflow rates and patterns, in order to uncover the optimized HVAC air distribution design that can effectively control the spread of COVID-19 and similar diseases.
